FAQ

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes. I will travel within the U.S. and internationally.

Q: Do you charge for travel + expenses?

A: Yes. Travel expenses are billed at actual cost.

Q: Do you shoot engagements?

A: Yes. Engagement shoots are typically included with wedding packages, but can be purchased à la carte as well.

Q: How much money is required to book a date on your calendar?

A: 100% of the total estimated cost + travel expenses is due to secure all shoots, except weddings. Weddings, require a 50% deposit with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to the wedding date.

Q: Do I get to select my favorites photos from our shoot?

A: Yes, in most cases, a digital gallery will be sent to you up to 72 hours after our shoot. The number of photos you can select will be states in your engagement letter. Additional photos can always be purchased for a fee.

Q: When will the final photos be delivered

A: Most photo shoots will be completed within 10 business days after your final selections are made from the online gallery. Weddings have a 60 day turn around time.

Q: Can I share photos from the online gallery?

A: While it is always tempting to share sneak peak photos, it is not allowed.

Q: Can I take behind the scenes (BTS) photos during our shoot?

A: Behind the scenes photos are not allowed during our shoot.

Q: How are the photos delivered?

A: Digitally unless you add the option for them to be delivered on a USB drive via US Mail. There is a charge for this service.

Q: What’s your favorite color?

A: Turquoise Blue

Q: Will you take a photo with my phone?

A: I will not.

Q: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

A: … (eye-roll)

Q: Will you babysit my children?

A: No chance.

Q: Do I have to tag you on social media?

A: Every time and place you share one of my photos on social media or web, you must share only the watermarked images and tag me on the appropriate platform and include a hyperlink to my website.

Q: Do you tolerate rudeness during the shoot by me, my significant other, my friends, a member of my family, or any other guest?

A: While I understand there may be some anxiety or stress attached to having your photo taken, rudeness of any kind, in any quantity, will not be tolerated.

Q: If you leave after we were rude, will I get my money back?

A: No.

Q: Do you offer refund?

A: Details of refunds are offered in the agreement.

Q: We’re getting married in an exotic location, if we pay for your travel and hotel will you shoot our wedding to add to your portfolio?

A: No.

Q: I know what you said about discounts before, but I’m your friend. I can get a discount, right?

A: My mom doesn’t even get a discount, buddy :)

Q: Do you require a good meal just like our guests?

A: No. I require a FANTASTIC meal :) 

Q: Will you eat in the back with the peasants? 

A: No. You must put me at a table with a good view of the action at the same time as your guests, even though I will not be shooting during that  time. 

Q: Will you re-edit these few photos for me for X,Y, and Z reasons?

A: No. All photos are edited according to the style I see fit.

Q: Hey, it’s been two days, how are the photos coming? When Can I expect to see them?

A: Deliverables for your photos are outlined in the agreement.

Q: Still no discount? Third time’s a charm right? 

A: Nope
